Shipping an RV with Red Carpet

The process is a bit different than shipping a regular vehicle, but not much, so read on to find out what you can expect when you ship your RV with Red Carpet Auto Transport.
When you decide to ship your RV, call us up and we’ll give a free quote to ship it right over the phone. You can even place your order at the same time, and once you place your order with us we will collect some more information and assign an auto transport carrier to pick up your RV. This will most likely be a flatbed truck, as there are no regular auto transport carriers who can fit something like a recreational vehicle onto their carrier.
Once the truck arrives at your house, the driver will walk with you around the vehicle to note any damages or other distinguishing features – on the off chance that damage should befall the RV during transport, which is rare. Once that is done, you will sign a bill of lading that authorizes the truck driver to pickup the RV and then he will place it onto the flatbed and drive it away. This is when we will charge you for the deposit amount.
Once the vehicle is in transport, you can call us at anytime to request where the vehicle is at this moment, and we’ll find it for you. But rest assured that the truck that it goes on will be the truck that delivers the vehicle. Now, when that truck delivers your RV, you and the driver will do a second inspection of the vehicle, and once that is taken care of your RV will be back into your hands. The driver will drive away and we will collect the rest of the money for the transport, and then you’re done!
