Shipping a Car with Red Carpet

Shipping a car with Red Carpet Auto Transport is quite easy, but if you’re unsure of the details, feel free to read along and find out just what happens when you decide to ship a car.

It all starts with a free quote, and you can get one right over the phone from us. Once you decide that our quote is the best, simply let us know and we’ll place an order for you. From there, you’ll speak with one person who will handle everything, and what they’ll do first is find an auto transport carrier to pickup your vehicle from your house. Once we find one, we’ll let you know when the truck will arrive and give you instructions on all the preparations you need to do prior to your car being picked up.

Once the driver shows up, both you and the driver will do a walk around the vehicle and note anything that is wrong with the vehicle – this is to assure that any new damages (should there be any, which is rare) will be picked up by the insurance policy of the truck.

Once your vehicle is picked up, we’ll notify you that the vehicle is on its way to wherever you want it to go. Your car will stay on the truck that it was placed on until it is delivered, and once the vehicle is picked up we will go ahead and charge you the deposit fee. Your vehicle is now on its way!

Once the truck that is delivering your vehicle is close to its destination, we’ll call you and inform you about where the truck is and when you can expect it to arrive. Once the vehicle arrives, both you and the driver will do a second walk around to note any new damages (if there are any), and then you’re all set to go! We’ll call you and make sure that everything is in order and then bill you for the rest of the transport costs.
