Shipping a Truck with Red

Shipping a truck with Red Carpet Auto  Transport is fast and easy. Read along to see just what is in store  for you when you decide you want to ship your pickup truck with us.

When you first call us, you’ll get a  free quote to ship your truck. Once you decide you like our quote,  you can call us back at any time during our normal business hours and  place an order to ship your vehicle. Placing an order is simple –  we’ll collect some information from you and then assign your  vehicle to an auto transport carrier, which will pickup your truck  within one to seven days of you placing the order.

For oversized trucks, it may take  longer as many auto transport carriers cannot fit an oversized pickup  onto their truck, but we can ship it, don’t worry. We just want to  make sure you know that oversized vehicles can take a bit longer to  find a carrier that will take it. However, once one is found, we will  notify you, and then we will tell you when the carrier will show up  to pickup your truck.

Once the carrier has shown up, both you  and the driver of the carrier will walk around your vehicle and note  any minor scratches, dings, or any other damages that the vehicle  currently has. This is to ensure that any new damages that may occur  will be billed to the insurance company of the truck, and not to your  private insurance. Carriers are federally mandated to have a minimum  of $750,000 of insurance coverage, so any new damages – and let’s  not forget that damages are rare during transport – will not cost  you a dime.

Once the vehicle is picked up and on  the truck, it stays on the carrier until it is delivered to the  destination that you specified. Also, once the vehicle is picked up,  we will take our deposit and inform you that we have done so – we  keep you in the loop, because it’s your truck, right? We believe  that you have a right to know what’s going on, so we won’t keep  you in the dark.

Now, once the truck is delivered, you  and the driver will make another walk around the vehicle and note any  new damages (if any) that have occurred, and once that is done, you  can enjoy your vehicle once again.
